Mountain View Park

Mountain View Park in Pocono Township is the perfect FREE place to bring your kids for a a day full of fun. Located just up the road on Sullivan Trail from The Crossings Premium Outlets in Tannersville, this park is extremely easy to get to and has plenty of parking. Bring lunch, relax on a bench, and let your kids run wild!

Theres plenty of open, shaded space.

One of my favorite things about this park is that it’s HUGE! There are dozens of playgrounds. If one is too crowded, there’s still many others for kids to explore.

The size of the park also means that kids will want to stay longer. We usually get a full 2 hours out of the park before my 2 year old is tuckered and ready for nap time.

The main attraction of Mountain View Park

Sure there are plenty of playgrounds at Mountain View Park, but nothing beats the main attraction!

Parents – Don’t think you’ll be sitting down if your little ones are playing here. There’s plenty for mom and dad to do such as rocking the pirate ship, pushing kids across the saddle track, and playing a game of telephone through the speakers on opposite sides of the structure.

Go deeper for shaded walking paths.

If you walk deeper in the park behind the main playground, there are pockets of swing sets and smaller slides throughout the woods. You may prefer this section of Mountain View Park if you’re looking to avoid “sensory overload” for your kid.

Take a Nature Walk in the Poconos

Walk even deeper into the park for a beautiful nature walk in the Poconos! Listen to the distant sounds of children playing while you explore nature and unwind.

Mountain View Park is open every day, dawn till dusk
May through November
